Marco Enea
Marco Enea, master’s degree in Statistical and Economic Sciences, PhD in Statistics and Quantitative Finance, is Assistant Professor of Medical Statistics at the University of Palermo (UNIPA), since 2019. In the previous two years, he was Assistant Professor in Social Statistics at UNIPA. He is author/co-author of more than 70 publications (40 with impact factor), reviewer of a dozen scientific journals, and speaker at several national and international statistical conferences. He has also participated to National and European research projects. He is interested in statistical methods and models for health statistics and biostatistics: competitive risks and multi-state models with applications on liver-related diseases, covid-19 related diseases and overcrowding at emergency departments, semi-Markov model-based cost-effectiveness analysis of new drugs, meta-analysis and survival analysis, bivariate categorical responses regression models for the association between prognostic scores, GLMMs, GAMMs, GAMLSSs.
